Welcome to Hammerhead Studios! We are a small, privately owned recording studio located in Island Lake, Illinois. Though we are small, we offer the same quality and services of other local studios, often at better prices and a faster turn-around! Hammerhead was formed as a private project studio by its two engineers in 2005 for their own band, and over time grew to a fully equipped recording studio. First opened to the public in mid 2009, we maintain the high standards orginally set in our own recordings. We are familiar with many different styles of music, but specialize in modern rock and alternative music.
